After graduating from South Delhi Polytechnic for Women , New Delhi ( First with Distinction ) , she studied export management and start working as freelance designer and undertook Jewellery Projects . Besides, she also Holds a Master of Arts degree in Political Science .
Swapnil says, " My association with the Fashion, gems and jewellery industry is nearly 8+ Years old, for nearly three years as a student and then working in different sectors of the industry – retail, publishing and consultancy."
As a self-confessed ‘enthusiast of beautiful things’, Swapnil is also the chief Designer and co -owner of Swapnil saundarya Label , which is a luxury craft manufacturing firm . Swapnil also has a proven track record of launching successful online ventures such as Swapnil Saundarya ezine .You can find her articles on jewellery and fashion on various reputed platforms. She currently blogs at 'Swapnil Saundarya' and ‘Fashion Pandit’.
Swapnil has worn several hats , Jewellery Journalist, Columnist , Designer, Fashion Consultant, Craft Expert, Writer and Painter. She has also diversified into Handicraft Products as an experiment in her journey in design . She also got featured on 'The Elegant Life' as young Indian entrepreneur who successfully started with almost nothing and set a milestone in her 20s.
"One of my greatest strengths is in exploring the finer nuances of design and the manufacturing processes while working as an independent designer. I get jewellery manufactured from carefully chosen gemstones creating original jewels which are a class apart meant to transcend time. This reflects distinctly in all my jewels as well. Working as a freelance Jewellery Designer , I have lived up to the challenge of imparting knowledge that makes my clients aware of design trends of the industry. For this I not only drew upon my previous knowledge but also kept abreast of the latest international design trends and the innovations making inroads in the gems and jewellery industry" she added.
Every experiment in her life she avers has been … “a step in my journey of growth and self discovery, a kaleidoscopic part of life that enriches the fabric of my work and existence.”
Swapnil has also authored two books namely ‘Gehne – The Art of wearing Jewellery’ published in 2012 and Fashion Pandit published in 2014 . She has launched her own Designer Jewellery brand namely ‘Swapnil Jewels & Arts’ and with a desire to add new dimensions to the design and Art industry , she started ‘ Swapnil Saundarya Label ‘ with a motive to make everybody’s life beautiful and just like their Dream World .
