Mr Anurag Agrawal needs no introduction in the field of TV journalism .... In addition to TV journalism, he is the founder-editor of Power Code, a talk show host and the proud owner of  Broadcasting & media production company 'Network 24X7'. 

After spending many years , working for an Export House , he decided to quit his job because of his passion for journalism .... Nearly 17 years ago, he stepped into the journalism world as a freelance journalist ... though he wanted to be a  part of well-known Media brands but It was not that easy.

Mr Anurag Agrawal did not have any degree in journalism (at that time it was not needed too) and he was against of getting a job based on nepotism and cronyism ... One day Mr Anurag's close friend gave him an e- mail of a not-so-branded Delhi based newspaper “In-Dino” and said that he can send  his news to this newspaper.....Mr  Anurag  saw a ray of hope and start sending news to “In-Dino” ......

After sending the news for almost a year, Mr Anurag Agrawal  got a phone call ... Mr Anurag was told that the person on the phone is actually the owner of the newspaper “In-Dino”  ... Mr Anurag  Agrawal got very excited. 

On the phone, he asked Mr Anurag , "Are you familiar with the fact that we are constantly publishing every news you sent to our newspaper and from now  we are proud to appoint you as Authorized Journalist of our newspaper "............ At that time Mr Anurag  was on the cloud nine.

Mr Anurag Agrawal  started his journey in the field of journalism from here. Some of his friends usually made fun of 'In Dino' ...on the other hand his many friends were not tired of praising him ... Mr Anurag  worked in this newspaper for many years and covered great stories.

One day, during a news coverage at Kanpur's famous Green Park, Mr Anurag met Mr Anirudh Singh,  senior journalist at Sahara T.V and in the talk, Mr Anirudh asked Mr Anurag if he is interested to work with Sahara T.V........... Sahara T.V was one of the best news channels at that time and working here was like a dream come true for Mr Anurag. So Mr Anurag Agrawal immediately agreed for this job. 

It was not easy to come and work in the field of electronic media from the print media, because Mr Anurag was not familiar with the functioning of the electronic media but  with the great help and cooperation of Mr Anirudha Singh and other seniors ( Mr  Rajiv Tiwari, Mr Shailendra Pathak, MrPankaj, Mr Abu Obaida, this difficulty was also solved.

After working for several years with Sahara, Mr Anurag Agrawal founded the English magazine 'Power Code' dedicated to youth and  posted as bureau chief at  the renowned 'India Voice news channel'.

Mr Anurag Agrawal , who goes on the path of positive journalism, says, "Journalism profession has changed drastically. Quality has gone down and it has become fully commercialised. So, I have decided to move towards positive journalism and for this, I started  'Power Code' . Power Code is only for youth. We want to provide a platform to those youth who has talent but no one bring them into lime light. Most importantly, this magazine is “By the youth, for the Youth”, so we invite youth to be a part of this magazine and share their views with us........Besides, we have also started a talk show namely 'Talkistaan ~ Success Stories with Anurag' that focuses on the successful people who accomplished incredible things in their life. We will showcase many inspirational stories to sustain your motivation and get you one step closer to your goals and beautiful life. We are also in process to launch some new and innovative concepts that will be revealed soon...Our ambition behind all our  ventures is to Bring positive journalism alive ."

Mr Anurag Agrawal has been honored with the title of Star Journalist in all the Media Houses where he worked.

श्री अनुराग अग्रवाल टी.वी पत्रकारिता के क्षेत्र में एक जाना माना नाम हैं....टी.वी पत्रकारिता के अतिरिक्त वे पॉवर कोड के संस्थापक- संपादक , टॉकिस्तान नामक टॉक शो के होस्ट व नेट्वर्क 24X7 के संस्थापक के रुप में मीडिया के क्षेत्र में अपनी सफल भागीदारी दर्ज करा रहे हैं...

अपने करियर के शुरुआती दिनों में काफी समय तक एक निर्यात कंपनी में काम करने के बाद , अनुराग जी का पत्रकारिता की तरफ रुझान बढ़ता चला गया....पत्रकारिता के क्षेत्र में उनकी दीवानगी के कारण उन्होंने अपनी नौकरी छोड़ने का निर्णय लिया.... करीब 17 वर्ष पूर्व उन्होंने स्वतंत्र पत्रकार के रुप में पत्रकारिता जगत में कदम रखा....हालांकि वे नामी ब्रांड्स का हिस्सा बनने के इच्छुक थे पर यह आसान नहीं था.

अनुराग जी के पास पत्रकारिता की कोई डिग्री नहीं थी ( उस समय इसकी इतनी आवश्यकता भी नहीं होती थी) और भाई-भतीजावाद के आधार पर नौकरी पाने के वे सख़्त खिलाफ थे...एक दिन अनुराग जी के करीबी मित्र ने उन्हें एक ई-मेल पता दिया जो कि दिल्ली के एक सामान्य अखबार 'इन दिनों ' का था और कहा कि वे अपनी न्यूज़ इस ई-मेल के माध्यम से भेज सकते हैं.....अनुराग जी को आशा की एक किरण दिखाई दी और उन्होंने अपनी न्यूज  'इन दिनों' को भेजनी शुरु कर दी ..हालांकि वे इस बात से अनभिज्ञ रहे कि उनकी न्यूज़ का क्या हो रहा है....या उसको लेकर लोगों की क्या प्रतिक्रियाएं हैं.

करीब एक साल लगातार न्यूज़ भेजने के बाद एक दिन अनुराग जी के पास एक फोन आया...अनुराग जी को बताया गया कि फोन पर जो शख़्स हैं वे 'इन दिनों' अखबार के मालिक हैं...अनुराग जी काफी उत्साहित हो  उठे...फोन पर उन्होंने अनुराग जी से पूछा ,"क्या आप इस बात  से परिचित  हैं कि आपके द्वारा भेजी गई हर न्यूज़ को हम हमारे अख़बार में लगातार प्रकाशित कर रहे हैं और अब से हम आपको (अनुराग जी को ) 'इन दिनों' का ऑथराइज़्ड जर्नलिस्ट नियुक्त कर रहे हैं "....... यह सुन अनुराग जी की खुशी का ठिकाना न रहा.

यहाँ से अनुराग जी की पत्रकारिता के क्षेत्र में उनकी यात्रा का आरंभ हुआ....अनुराग जी के दोस्त 'इन दिनों' अख़बार को हेय दृष्टि से देखते थे और कई दोस्त उनकी प्रशंसा करते नहीं थकते थे..... अनुराग जी ने कई वर्षों तक इस अखबार में कार्य किया और बेहतरीन स्टोरीज़ कवर करीं.

एक दिन कानपुर के प्रख्यात ग्रीन पार्क में एक न्यूज़ कवरेज के दौरान सहारा टी.वी के वरिष्ठ पत्रकार श्री अनिरुद्ध सिंह जी से अनुराग जी की मुलाकात हुई और बातों ही बातों में अनिरुद्ध जी ने उनसे पूछा कि क्या वे सहारा टी.वी के साथ काम करना चाहेंगे . सहारा टी.वी उस वक़्त सर्वश्रेष्ठ न्यूज़ चैनल्स में से एक था और अनुराग जी के लिए यहां काम करना किसी सपने के पूर्ण होने के समान था. अत: अनुराग जी ने तुरंत इस जॉब के लिए हामी भर दी.

प्रिंट मीडिया से इलेक्ट्रीनिक मीडिया के क्षेत्र में आना व कार्य करना आसान नहीं था क्योंकि इलेक्ट्रानिक मीडिया की कार्यप्रणाली से अनुराग जी परिचित नहीं थे  लेकिन अनिरुद्ध  जी के सहयोग से और अनुराग जी के सीनियर्स Mr Rajiv Tiwari, Mr Shailendra Pathak, Mr. Pankaj, Mr Abu Obaida की मदद से यह मुश्किल भी हल हो गई.

सहारा के साथ कई वर्षों तक काम करने के बाद अनुराग जी ने युवाओं को समर्पित अंग्रेज़ी पत्रिका पॉवर कोड का विमोचन किया और श्री अनिरुद्ध सिंह जी के प्रख्यात न्यूज़ चैनल इंडिया वॉइस में बतौर ब्यूरो चीफ के  रुप में पदासीन हुए .

सकारात्मक पत्रकारिता के पथ पर आगे बढ़ने वाले अनुराग जी कहते हैं, "पत्रकारिता के क्षेत्र में  काफी बदलाव आया है..... आधुनिक समय में इसकी गुणवत्ता कम हो गई है और यह पूरी तरह से व्यवसाय बन गया है......अत: मैंने सकारात्मक पत्रकारिता की ओर अग्रसर होने का निर्णय लिया है और इस कड़ी में मैंने पॉवर कोड की शुरुआत करी .....पॉवर कोड ( Power Code ) केवल युवाओं के लिए है.... हम पॉवर कोड के ज़रिये उन युवाओं को मंच प्रदान करना चाहते हैं जिनके पास प्रतिभा है लेकिन कोई भी उन्हें रोशनी में नहीं लाता है. सबसे महत्वपूर्ण बात यह है कि यह पत्रिका युवाओं के साथ है, युवाओं के लिए है..... इसलिए हम युवाओं को इस पत्रिका का हिस्सा बनने और उनके विचारों को हमारे साथ सांझा करने के लिए आमंत्रित करते हैं. इसके अतिरिक्त हमने टॉकिस्तान नामक एक टॉक शो का आगाज़ किया है जिसमें हम समाज के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में सफलता की नव इबारत लिख रहे लोगों की ज़िंदगी से आप सभी को रुबरु कराने के लिए प्रयासरत हैं...इसके अलावा कुछ अन्य प्रोजेक्ट्स की योजनाएं तैयार हैं बस जल्द ही यथार्थ रुप लेकर वे भी आप सभी के समक्ष होंगी  पर हमारी सभी नई योजनाओं का मुख्य आधार है सकारात्मक पत्रकारिता को जीवंत करना."

अनुराग जी ने आज दिन तक जितने भी मीडिया हाउसेज़ में काम किया हैं , वहाँ उन्हें स्टार जर्नलिस्ट की उपाधि से नवाज़ा जाता रहा है.
